J. Trent Adams

I am a a technologist, product strategist, and futurist focused on digital identity. My experience spans pioneering digital production to running highly trafficked community portals and e-commerce engines, to supporting various specification, standards, and advocacy communities.

These days I’m an Outreach Specialist at the non-profit Internet Society. Specifically, I build relationships with technologists and developers, helping them collaborate on solutions related to trust and identity. Before that I was the Founder and Chief Innovator of MatchMine, a personalized media discovery and recommendation technology company. I incubated the company while fulfilling my role as Chief Innovator for the Kraft Group Sports Properties.

I was a founding officer of the DataPortability Project, contributor to Project VRM, and participant in the Semantic Web and Linked Data communities. I’m also currently the Chair of the Kantara Initiative Leadership Council.
